The Pelco EasiGlow ionizer is a glow discharge system for TEM grids. It allows ionisation of support films on grids to obtain uniform spreading of aqueous solutions and to facilitate the dispersion and the binding of macromolecules (application in cryomicroscopy and negative staining).
